The Harmony in Diversity Award aims to recognise individuals who have demonstrated outstanding efforts to foster social cohesion and harmony between people of different cultures in Southeast Asia.

This prestigious award celebrates champions of social cohesion who transcend cultural, religious, ethnic, and linguistic divides through their transformative work.

The Award aims to promote peace and harmony in Southeast Asia and amplify the impact of fostering social cohesion in Southeast Asia.

Eligibility & Submission Standards

Who can nominate

Nomination of individuals must be submitted by an organisation including governments, intergovernmental organisations, business entities, academic institutions, non-governmental organisations, and other relevant stakeholders

Who can be nominated

Nominees must be a citizen of Southeast Asian countries (any of the 10 ASEAN Member States)

Language & format

Submissions must be submitted in English and through the online application form with the required supporting documents and materials (including reports, books, links to visuals, articles, etc.)

Integrity & ethics

Unethical behaviour (misleading information or undue pressure) may result in disqualification and/or revocation.

Your organisation is the nominator; your nominee is a citizen of Southeast Asian countries; Review language and required documents for submission

STEP 2

Prepare Materials

Prepare the impact report and gather supporting documents (including reports, books, links to visuals, articles)

Complete the Online Form

Submit your nomination in English with all materials via the online form

STEP 4

Verification & Shortlisting

5P Global Movement as the supporting secretariat verifies submissions and shortlists nominees

  • Awardee will receive a cash prize of USD20,000 and the Harmony in Diversity Award trophy
